Has recently received some positive feedback from work. It has given me a confidence boost as I have felt like I wasn't doing so well.
Positive feedback?

Yep. Along the lines of you did this well. I don't like to think of myself as someone who needs constant praise but at the same time if I don't receive any feedback at all my default thought is I must be doing a bad job.
I have always wondered why some 'bosses' don't give praise or positive feedback to employees or people lower down the chain.
And, I always come to the same conclusion; they are scared for their own jobs - or are maybe not so hot at their job.
Praising an underling does not sit well with them if at a later date some shit is hitting the fan and they need to spread it
A thank you or a pat on the back goes a long way in getting the best out of employees and produces a pleasant working environment - and it costs nothing.
I employ people and they always know when they have 'done good' I wouldn't have it any other way.

Not sure that is really approved of in the modern office any more Stephen.
Lucky I read your altered quote or I might have been aghast. Instead I laughed.

Robyn has a LOT of shifts at work next week. This means money, but also a very very tired Scats. I was happy but confused today though when a female customer randomly told me that I am "very pretty".
D'aw. So the evilness hasn't progressed throughout the week then! Money + compliments = good.
Yeeeeeah. But more work means less Elliot. And I like Elliot.
