Woke up with wisdom tooth pain.
Not yet acquired enough wisdom to know better than to read Chekhov with only a couple of days before submitting a play to a comp.
My face hurts and my play is shit. This morning seriously needs salvaging.

Ouch - you should go to a dentist if it persists.
Ellie is feeling slightly hungover after going out for an amazing meal last night.

It's cheapish. Also not that time consuming since I just put it in the pot and leave it. Am also attempting to try that potato salad recipe from The Gaurdian, although without the herbs or capers.

It's been going on for years and years, every so often one or some will come through a tiny bit then nothing for months. Dentist said there's enough space for them so no need to spend money or risk procedure, just have to put up with it, and regale you all with this almightily fascinating story.
Where did you go for the amazing meal? What did you have?
Really? The cut for corned or as we Brits call it salt beef, is pretty expensive.
If cooked right its amazing.

Serious comp? There's so many play competitions going that once it's written you can whore it all over town./
Oh and comiserations on the pain.

I had the fillet with creamed spinach for main and cornflake icecream to finish. Amazing.

Are there? I never notice them, send them my way if you spot any decentish looking ones. Had drinks with a playwright last night, he has the same writing difficulties as I'm having with this play so at least it's not just me.

I'm drawing a curtain over that remark.

The cocktails were amazing. I had a gin one and the mister had a whiskey one.
And yeah - they just gave us some cornflake icecream to try. Was so nice.

Gah, Chekhov's Gun is pointing at my head. My play is so bad I'm considering going for a jog instead of looking at it.
I'm currently trying to work out how I can justify spending over £20 for breakfast.
And barring doing it to live with the shame of sleeping with Anne Widecombe for cash.
I'm coming up blank.

Bah I went to see the Cherry Orchard. I was distracted by someone chewing chewing gum in the first act and it got stuck on my trousers in the final act.
Bloody Chekhov's gum.
Jogging round the Cherry Orchard ?...
Ha beatcha!
I'm Uncle Vanya step ahead of you!
