If a job's worth doing, it's worth getting someone in to do it.

I would LOVE to come to Australia. Where abouts do you live?

Brisbane. Not anywhere near as exciting as Melbourne or Sydney unfortunatly, but could be in worse places.
Would glady trade you for London any day. It wouldn't really be an even trade though.
I wasnt a big fan of Brisbane when I went. A nasty Aussie followed me around at night and made me feel quite scared. Of course - London this happens regularly but maybe I can deal with it better.

Brisbane or Brizzy as it's known to the locals is famous for it's Bermuda Triangle like vortex.
Every year, well known characters from Australian soap operas leave their homes on offers of work in Brizzy and are never heard from again. Not only that, the people who live in Ramsey Street / Summer Bay, etc. forget all about thier brothers, sisters, lovers, etc. that have moved to Brisbane and never mention them again ever.
Beware if you are offered a job in this amnesiatic black hole of a city.

It is completely different when you are somewhere unfimillar. When I was in Bristol I thought this guy was following me. It was broad daylight and there were people around but I was still a bit frightened. The odd thing is I wouldn't have even noticed it had been in similar circumstances here.
Brisbane is fairly safe, I've lived here for over four years and only ever twice been worried that I was been followed twice. Once down the street I was living and once in a busy area.
I guess I just know which areas are generally ones to avoid if you are on your own at night.
*Not having a go at you, I'm sure you could say the same about London.
Probably thought you were a tour guide and was hoping you'd show him the bush
