Couldn't get big warm slipper boots on cos knees are too hurty. Making do with normal cotton slippers. Wouldn't have shaved my legs had I known there would be no extra protection from the cold available.

Why can't you get them on - cos knees won't bend, lift or push into boots?
Too painful to bend knees into position needed to get boots on. Got hypermobile joints and sometimes they just go mental

You can get velcro adjustable boots that don't look frumpy but I can't remember where from at the moment. They are really easy to get on.
