For god's sake don't be a teacher! It'll eat you alive. I know quite a few - none are happy.
Siiiigh. Discussions of tattoos always lead you lot to question my life.
Lol. Scats would be a great teacher, in a nice school with no horrible naughty chav kids. She would enjoy it and be one of those nice teachers everyone always remembers. And she would get given shiny apples. THAT IS MY PREDICTION.
Problem is, I've decided against Primary. I don't want to teach counting-on-maths and grow cress.
If you go to a nice private school, even older kids will be manageable. (Well, from my limited experience.)

It's either that or take part in the debates on auto-erotic asphyxiation or brackets.

I said to Elliot that I'll just teach at a posh all boys school and always wear short skirts.

I get too fed up with gay jokes for that!

Oh dear. I thought that one had been laid to rest?
Anyway, more importantly, why aren't people encouraging talented people to be teachers? I say if you want to do it then you definitely should. You can be known as Miss Ink, the tattooed lady.
Robyn would be excellent teacher.

Truly it was horrendous. A friend was stuck in her car for 6 hours for a 10 minute journey. At one point she abandoned her car and begged some pub folk to let her use the toilet. Another friend fell and broke a leg but couldn't get to hospital for 3 days because the roads were impassable. Our club and many others had to cancel panto performances which had financial implications. Then there were the constant -10 temperatures (sometimes -15). Truly it was no pleasure. We've
had it 2 years running and many people are dreading the winter coming.

Ouch. That is bad.
I still love it though. The country just needs to be better at dealing with it. (Road ploughing etc.)

Yes. My older son was in Finland in winter. Waist-high snow but no problems. I suppose it gets down to money. Equipment is expensive and they don't want to buy it in case these winters have been aberrations.
For those who asked: Pika is only young (under two) and perfectly fine health wise. It was very unusual.
She/he is obviously very cunning.
