Ha.

I gave PC World my laptop to fix and they gave it back saying it was all fine, I got it home and every single thing on it has been deleted.

I hate the Dixons group. F**king arseholing market dominating nob-jockeys. We're trying to buy a new cooker at the moment and our only options are to take a gamble off the net' or go to Currys/Comet/Dixons which means spending more from a choice of a smaller range. :S

They need competition! And I don't mean themselves with their bullshit we'll match any price within a 30 mile radius (btw the only other shops in a 30 mile radius are other Comets or Currys!) Rolling eyes

You're f**ked if you want a cooker/fridge, etc and you don't like Comet/Currys or online gubbins.

My tip is: Homebase.

I do like online gubbins, but a larger item I'm a bit more weary about. Because once I take out my old cooker, it won't be going back in again. And I don't want to be stuck without a cooker if anything went wrong.

I suspect you do all your shopping at Homebase? :D Like my Dad, once a Tesco store opened over the road I don't think he's ever been in any other shop since. Bless him :)

'gubbins'...

make a note of that word Darling, I like it and want to use it in conversation

We've bought some big things online, the latest being Mr. Keewik's car about a year ago - so far no problems and he saved about £3,000.

How did they get it through the letterbox?

I bought some clothes last week online. All the gubbins were massively reduced- good quality stuff, too.

I'm still waiting for the parcel to come.....so today I checked the 'Order Tracker' thing in the courier's website.

STATUS: PARCEL STOLEN.

The previous updates say 'Courier Received Package, 09.23' and 'Not delivered, 13.47'.
