Finally got my latest standup video uploaded in case anyone is interested. People who saw the last one will have already seen 5 minutes of it though.

Fox had first course of fat from Parma ham and is now back for main course.
Off to a wedding shortly and it's a lovely day.
Just got an email from the second comp I entered-- didn't get through that one either. But hey, I genuinely couldn't have done better last night, every joke hit, a punchline every second line. The judges just weren't buying what I was selling. If my best isn't good enough then it's not meant to be.
Meh, onto the next gig/comp/whatever.
Bad luck though.

Could always run your own little night with someone and MC it on a regular basis.
I don't really want the hassle of runnig my own night though. I might think about it- a couple of local new acts nights have disappeared recently.
Ah, if it was an easy path Nat everyone would be doing it. I imagine the ones at the top have had a lot of knocks and disapointment.

I'm feeling pretty Zen about it actually. Just found out who got through SYTYF from my heat and they are very deserved. Don't think anyone is through who didn't deserve it.
I just went to the local free festival. I bought a rib eye steak sandwich and had mustard on it. I looked at all the locals, despaired and came home where I took my top off. It's not been that bad of a day to be honest. Although, I think I've now got heartburn. I hate my life.
Over the heartburn now and feeling so chipper, that I'm going to make a pot of tea.
