When making gravy you thicken meat juices with flour when thickened, add veg stock, then oxo and the 'gravy browning' just a spot as it's very dark.

You reminded me of an incident that happened to me a few years ago chip.
I was at the hospital and had to have a radio active dye put through my ateries so they could see what was happening inside.
I had a massive alergic reaction to the dye.
I could feel the skin and flesh on my head swelling up and moving.
To be honest, the doctors panicked when they saw me. It was the weirdest feeling.
They quickly pumped me with anti-histamine and went outside to inform my wife about my reaction.
They told her not to be alarmed (which of course she immediately was) but I had had a reaction and my head had swollen.
She tried not to laugh when they wheeled me out - me sat there looking wobegone with a massive head. I pointed to my face and said 'what do you think to Billy big head then'
I was ok in the end, I only have to mention it and my wife still laughs at the sight of me.

You'd have to take weeks out of your job and by and large earn not much more than an average salary.

Someone's garden hose probably split and leaked everywhere.
Or an underground pipe has cracked and his next water bill is going to be huge.
