Just mowed the lawn and did a bit of weeding. I hate both.

Amen, Brother. My lawn is only about 1/6 of an acre but it kicks my ass when it's 100F+ outside. My homeowners association doesn't allow fake grass. :(

There's something called 'mondo grass' which never gets tall, and so never needs cutting. It's expensive though.

I don't mind the straight bits. Working around the trees and bushes really kills the flow and takes a hell of a lot longer.

Looks odd.

There's something nice about a freshly mown lawn. Great smell, too.

The secret of easy lawn-mowing is mowing regularly.

I used to have an Irish come and do me, now I have been shingled. Only a small front lawn it twas.

Yes so you don't have to collect the grass even!

Your Home owners association is quite scary, you sure you're not living in the DPRK

We should get a van and go into business together as gardeners!

I mow every 5 days. Any more than that and it's like trying to hack my way through the jungle.

I suspect my grass is much different than what is grown in the UK.

It's all about maintaining property values.
