Oh, basically it allows you to 'draw' on your laptop screen (or surface, with a projector) and have what you're drawing appear, say, in Photoshop. Your screen is more-or-less a piece of 'digital paper'. Make sense?

She don't understand technologymalogical thingies.

It's just a different way to control your computer, DM.
