Robyn is trying to write an essay but is watching Neighbours. She's not watched it in months but :( essay.

What's the essay about? Perhaps we can inspire you and drag you away from bad influences.

Not very sexy. Oh no.

This one is about sex and sexuality in On the Road. I have four to do. :(

Kerouac was a massive slut. The end.

Yes. I see you what you mean. Never read that. Is it actually an interesting read or all a bit indulgent?

Kerouac was a massive slut. The end.

And a bit of a homophobe.

Can't be any sluttier than Charles Bukowski. He's well dirty.

Oh. That's a bit boring.

It's quite interesting but not all it's cracked up to be. It's not like groundbreaking, though I suppose it might have been in 1957.

Yeah. Like Monty Python were in the early '70's. Groundbreaking telly then. Try watching it now, though. Ooh dear.

It's one of those ones that gets built up massively, and then you read it and it's quite disappointing.

It was the fifties, man! We all ragged on the gays back then. Chill out.

I remember quite enjoying it.

But Ginsberg = hugely gay!

The scroll is more interesting than the novel. More sweary.

Did you read it in the '50s?

Hee. Well it's good that some people still like it.

And I thought you were sensitive!
