There are Indian restaurants but they are nowhere near as numerous as in the UK. There are probably no more than a dozen in this city of 2 million people. Indian food isn't very popular and it has no status at all when it comes to takeaway food. We do mainly do burgers, Chinese, Mexican or pizza when we want a quick meal to go. I don't think you'll find takeaway curries, fish & chips or kebabs outside of major cities with the appropriate immigrants in large numbers.

No, a cop saw the mugging and went after the bad guy and I'm guessing as he ran after him his wallet fell out. We picked it up (and the rest). We were told he caught the mugger though!
