Bad news today. Step Dad had cancer and only a few months. :(

So sorry to hear that! :(

Ellie is playing on her new MacBook and is actually really enjoying it. Her Dad has given her a lesson in excel!

I'm in Manchester tomorrow and Friday, anything happening?

Oh and it's a free MacBook with work! :)

i'm coming up Friday night.

Bad news BF - sorry to hear that. The father of one of work colleagues died today too - what's going on? :(

Fur eel?

I have no ides how to work a Mac. I just move the mouse round for a bit and then get upset that I don't know what I'm doing.

That's how I feel right now.... lost!

How do you play Mousetrap?

I'd stick to Kerplunk

Just heard of someone who was fined £50 for putting theur feet on the seats on a Merseyrail train.

Fifty? Jeez! A speeding ticket doesn't cost much more than that and in that instance it's because lives are in danger not upholstery. The punishment in no-way fits the 'crime'.

The programs aren't that different, you soon get used to it.

It did take me age age to find the # key though. :D Alt+3 ;)

Exaggeration is my forte.

Am on a course tomorrow. should be reading a pre read but can't be arsed.

I'm surprised there's any blood left in your heart it bleeds that much! The slovenly tyke got off light, people have to sit on those seats.

I feel the same about PCs Ben as you do about Macs - I just ache in frustration at how painful it seems to do anything. I've been using Macs for 22 years now but I've never had one of my own. Knowing how expensive they can be I fear for the day that I leave this job and may have to make the switch...

Do you spend your spare time writing angry letters to local newspapers, Chip, about the downfall of standards?
