Out of interest Nat - do you partake of this strange Newcastle thing of eating Christmas Cake and Cheese together?

I don't think it's a Newcastle thing. Isnt it traditional to have Christmas cake with stilton? Havent tried it myself.
Only place I've heard of it happening. You crazy folk you.
Yeah, it's not normal down south - as far as I know.
My dad sometimes has butter on his, but then he's weird.
According to wiki:
In Northern England, Christmas cake, as with other types of fruit cake, is often eaten with cheese, such as Wensleydale.
There you go then. Newcastle.
Apparently in some places it's traditional to eat apple pie with cheddar cheese.
Now THAT'S mucky.

Not sure that it's all that popular, but I think it's a New England thing. I tried it once and it was quite good. Sharp cheddar and apples go well together.
"a pie without cheese is like a hug without a squeeze"
read that in a Stephen King book.
A tart grannysmith pie could be quite nice.

The custard would melt the cheese!
zooo is pissed right off.
Oh no, why what's happened?
Lol, well nobody died.
But I dropped my pretty, shiny, brand new phone, and now it has a scratch.
Would be nice to own something for more than a week before I balls it up completely.
Oh no! That sucks loads.
