[wind report] My wheelie bin blew over yesterday. [/wind report]

Actually, I had a pickled egg earlier so there may be another update later. Whistling nnocently

*tuts* Sick

Clear blue skies here still!

The wind was so strong last night that the patio table and 2 of the 3 garden chairs have been blown half way down the garden. Perhaps I should go and pick them up at some point.

Probably. :)
Do/Have you ever actually sat out on them?

In other news: it's almost dark here again. :(

Very bright and sunny here, although also very cold.

Is nice really!

Makes me look forward to the rest of the year, as long as it doesn't go all hot. Not that that's likely.

The last time it was hot was two, or three? summers ago. Was unBEARABLE. For weeeeeeks. Yuck.

Yeah, pickled eggs aren't everyone's cup of tea. Whistling nnocently

Bloody hell, it's still nice 'n' bright here.

Yeah, that was horrible.

Yes, I have! Had a few weeks back when we first moved in where they were used relatively regularly, actually.

...

I do so hope you're kidding.

About which bit, my dear sun hating boy?

I don't mind it as long as it's not hot.

It has been hot for the odd day every summer (here), but not for weeeeeeks at a time.

That's the wild, wintry north for you. ;)

It is horrible when it's too hot. Urgh!

Did you eat outside?
I have a slightly irrational dislike for eating outside.

Deffo.

Yes. But not at my choice.

And, IIRC, I ran inside about half way through. Don't like wasps.

That you're looking forward to the rest of the year, that it's not likely to get hot, and that the last time it was hot was 3 years ago!

Wasps, bees, flies, wind blowing my hair into my mouth for every single bite, squinty sun, bleurgh. Hate it.

Although picnics are slightly less bad, for some reason.

It's Grim Up North ;)

Me too, flies 'n' stuff.

Wasps, bees

Yeah, and them.

To be fair, your hair is in your mouth around 80% of the time anyway. ;)

Weeellllll, okay, maybe that's not quite accurate!

But down here at least, it's usually only hot for like a day, then a few days of dullness, then hot again. So it's not 'unbearable', just really annoying.

But when it's hot every single day for months, that's 'unbearable', to me. And that only happened a few summers ago, when I was in London, and I couldn't sleep every night from the heat, and couldn't leave the house without wearing next to nothing and having a hand fan on my face 24 hours a day.

Horrible.
