Malcolm Muggeridge - one of the finest prose writers you'll ever find, TV personality, editor of Punch, a British intelligence officer during WW2, a newspaper correspondent in Russia under Stalin, and the man who introduced Mother Teresa to the world - wrote his autobiography under the title 'Chronicles of a Wasted Life'.
The title was changed pre-publication to 'Chronicles of Wasted Time' but MM preferred the original.
You're not alone, I assure you.
