Yay!
Mine needs washing and so is not very curly right now where I've been trying in vain to tie it up.
Hello.
Hi Nat! How are you today?
Hey Robyn and Nat!
At a complete crossroads (while at home, deep in thought and very perturtbed). My neighbour/friend has the most tumultuous life any friend of mine has had. I'd struggle to write such a complicated, compulsive character. Two more blokes back last night, I threatened one of them because he was a piece of scum. When we were out she lost her iphone, chatted up another bloke and snogged him infront of the two 'friends' she brought back.
I can't tell her how to live her life, she goes mad, she expects me to listen to all her affairs and stuff without getting worked up but it's impossible. I don't know what to do about her anymore, except maybe move out, it really is starting to ruin or affect my life, my mind is mangled much of the time worrying about her.
If I leave then I can't even keep half an eye on her, and she is my best friend. If I stay then I'm going to end up in a looney bin with a breakdown because she shows no signs of slowing down and I am getting more neurotic about her every day, she has a strange kind of hold on me as if we were in an Alfred Hitchcock movie I am not a happy kipper.
M'okay. You?
Just back from the market got some ace vegtable for the newest most evil soup creation.
What vegetable?

Great thanks.
My kids still haven't adjusted to the time change and all woke up at 5 this morning.
I'm not a prayer type person, but I am sending some strong vibes to the great almighty that at least two take a nap.

I was in the same spot with my best friend a few years ago. I had to draw some boundaries. If it wasn't about the dramatic stuff I was there to talk. I told her to find someone else if it had to do with her crazy life. It took her a long time to finally settle down and it was when she was finally ready.
Hang in there.

Celery, and Brocolli and Garlic.
Thanks. But it won't be easy, I have tried switching her off from my mind but it doesn't work for too long, I live right opposite her and can see everyone visiting her. I'm a nervous wreck at the moment She seems to take everything in her stride so cooly, until she breaks down in tears at my place like she did not long ago. But I will try to, for her. Ta.

Sounds...interesting. In my house we call that Grandma Barb soup.

Nope. Grandma Barb (MIL) just makes terrible soup.
