I'm sad 
My work were due to do a job evaluation because with our three legacy organisations, everyone is on different wages. During this time I've had two promotions, but I am still on pretty much the same wage as I was in the first job. My role was advertised publically at £8k more than I am getting paid for it. This means that when my colleagues are hired in October (I was the only internal person who passed the hiring criteria, so there are 3 jobs going), I will be getting paid 3/4 of their wage. We all knew about the public sector pay freezes, but were constantly being told that this didn't count, as it wasn't a pay rise for a lot of people, but now it seems that that might not be the case. I feel all poop and let down and undervalued. It means I'm going to lose out on over £16k in the next two years until the freeze is lifted.
