I can never look away from the window when I'm flying over the western states. The deserts and mountains and canyons are beautiful. The pilot said we had a great view of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, but I was on the wrong side of the plane.

Yeah, once when I lived in Las Vegas in the early sixties and another time about 12 years ago. I think you've said you weren't impressed, but it's one of the most beautiful sights I've seen. It ranks right up there with Yosemite and Big Sur.

No, just a few almost identical shots. I took 2 photos of a car in Vegas with a personalized license plate that said DRACULA, but it was dark and even Photoshop couldn't make the plate legible.
Just had the biggest fright of my life. I am at home on my own, I was listening to music and it was pretty loud. I got a hand on my shoulder and I screamed like a girl and bashed my knees off my desk trying to run away. It was my little sister looking to borrow a DVD. My heart is still racing.
So, in fact, not at home on your own. 
I am again now, and I've put my key in lock now so nobody can use theirs on the other side. That scared the hell out of me.
