Thanks everybody. I've been feeling progressively crappier for the past couple weeks and went in for some tests. It seems that I'm showing early signs of kidney failure. So I have a bazillion tests coming up, including tissue samples and lots of very invasive proby stuff. Yuck.

My son is having an operation on his kidney today. We won't know exactly what the problem is until they have opened him up. We only know that he has one kidney that is too large and an odd shape and one that is very small and has some kind of blockage in it.

Eeeeeek. Might know some more by late this evening or some time tomorrow.
At least methods, surgery and treatment are much better now than they were 28 years ago when my husband had to have a kidney removed. His didn't work at all and he is still here and living a normal life so don't despair Andie, wait until you know more before you start worrying. Good luck with all those tests. Hug

Eek you guys- hope everything turns out okay.

On a lighter note- I have eggy bread.

Ellie did her quickest cycle to work this morning. :) 31 mins!

Don't you live half a mile from work?

Yes, I went the long way round... and backwards.

Just found out the short film I edited won some awards. Where's my friggin' awards?@!

Link?

It was a film made by people with learning disabilities, they won 'most creative idea' or something, plus a few more awards?

Not sure if I can link it due to confidentiality issues?

It was shot by the care team, who would 'cut' half-way through someones dialogue, or chop off the end of a speech. It was a nightmare to edit. Took me a while to get what the story was because I didn't have a script to reference. So I had to watch it over-and-over again to figure it all out.

Robyn has been shoppiiiiing! Does anyone want some sweeties? Pleased

Fair play.

I'm not sure how much that matters? I think I showed it to Gavin? Pleased

Ach, if it's not funny I don't need it.

He's not interested if there's nothing he can steal in his endless quest to be funny, Leevil.
