I messaged my friend in Iceland to ask if she'd completed her move to Italy and she told me that she was in the U.S. for a few weeks to visit her mother. I assumed she was in Florida, but it turns out that she's in Providence, Rhode Island. I'm going to be there Thursday! I haven't seen her in almost 10 years and I've always wanted to meet her husband. What a fantastic turn of events!

I still haven't mastered them, but frankly, I don't put the hours in.

I don't understand why chopsticks were invented or persevered with. It just seems odd, like they couldn't be bothered to think up something more practical.

Forks are rather more civilised. But I would still quite like to master the 'sticks.
