No, that's not a good thing to do when you have a 1500-mile drive ahead of you.
We drank plenty of beer during the show, in the tour bus after the show and then continued at my place in the wee hours of the morning.

Nowhere; it was my friends who are driving 1500 miles back to Los Angeles. They've put 120,000 miles on their van in 3 years of touring.
Next week I'm flying to northwestern Massachusetts for this festival: http://solidsoundfestival.com/
and then I'll spend a quick day or two driving around Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. It's one of the only parts of the country I've yet to visit, so I'm going to cross them off the list.
