Next week.
I was only going to apply for office jobs, I'd decided I wanted to work in a civilised sitting down position. But I was tricked into applying at the last minute by the lovely books.

I'd luuuuurrrve to work in a bookshop. Is it a chain or a (soon-to-be-closed-down ) independent one?
Chain. Here is a clue:

I though Borders had closed?
I rather liked Borders.

Me too. Although Waterstones is one of my favourite places to browse for books before buying them on Amazon.*

Yes. I hope the book store in the town will survive Amazon and the Ebook etc. Good luck I hope you get the job! We need book lovers in book shops!

You won't be laughing when you're watching me browse with intent to buy somewhere else!
3 for 2 at Waterstones remember Rob!

I know, and I do buy there fairly often. To be honest I do most of my book-buying in charity shops. That way, the authors lose out, too.

Authors want to be read not rich.
