Just got back from seeing Ozzy at Birmingham Town Hall !
Wonderful, intimate gig in front of a local crowd.
Bits off the new album, bits of previous solo stuff and bits of Sabbath ending with Paranoid.
Now eating onion bahjis with tomato and chili sauce.
Things don't get much better than this.

Indeed, and interestingly and quite satisfying to note, is that for a sell out gig the two seats to my left were unoccupied as was the one to my right and almost the entire Row B (I was in D) plus sundry others.
Why satisfying?
I left my daughter in charge of internet buying from the authorinsed box office at 9am two Mondays ago. She missed out so, bless her and knowing how much I wanted to go, she bought me one off Ebay for Fathers Day.
When I looked yesterday, the tout who she bought it off still had row D seats available at less than she paid. So, it looks like he might have caught a cold over this one. Hopefully.

Another small child ran up to the desk and just said "I'm a big girl now! FIVE WHOLE YEARS!" and then ran off.
I shall be barbecuing a 5lb rib of beef today in my Weber kettle BBQ - anyone got any tips? Direct on the grill to start and then in a pan with indirect heating I was thinking, chuck some onions in a drop of red wine?
