It's good to live it up at Christmas.

mmmmmmmm snowed in, no travel, no shopping and no cable telly. Will I survive?
Letting the news that Zavvi has been placed into administration sink in
*goes home!!!!*
Quote: Bad dog @ December 24 2008, 9:46 AM GMTI've got the traditional yuletide cold and barely have the strength to lift a minced pie.
A minced pie, eh? Messy.

No.
Quote: Griff @ December 24 2008, 9:19 AM GMTYep, I think Danny may have had the most interesting night anyone on BSG has had all year.
Agreed.
Loopey is wondering if there will be any turkeys left in the shops and watching her husband clean the oven.
Roo has finished gingerbread baking and is all about the holidays.

General request. Anyone know what time the Tubes stop running today?
In case you do happen to see this:
"A Saturday service will run until 1900, after which time trains will run less frequently. Last trains will run at Sunday times."
Quote: Graham Bandage @ December 24 2008, 8:51 AM GMTAaron will know.
He'll be on in a minute.
... You do realise what time you said this at?

Christmas Day is the one day a year when the whole network closes down. Check the London news reports on Friday morning for the mind-boggling array of graffiti which will have appeared inside stations.

LOL! awesome.
At least it isn't rude.
Just had a last-minute stagger around the supermarket, got a few things and returned home. I must say some of the female supervisors in the shop looked rather tasty in their tight, red santa-type clothing. However, I have returned home and am hopefully now kennelled for the duration.
Sorry, Aaron, "minced" pie slipped through the radar. Teatime on Christmas eve is the time I have my first mince pie of the year. Merry Christmas folks.

Wow, I never would have expected that.

I've already munched my way through three dozen! Developed somewhat of an addiction, I must admit. Need to make some more this evening.

That it closes, or that it's the only day of the year on which it does so?

I must say that mince pies are great
And I just got a packet from Deb for free
But as it's time for Yuletide salutations
A Merry Christmas to all at the BSG
