Note: Anyone who thinks that gardening is a good idea, stop and think!
I can hardly move today. Back of legs and lower back all screaming at me.
Rememeber the weeds will back next week - is it worth it?
I'm writing my autobiography about my struggle with my struggle to find close fitting clothes, tie good knots and my slack sphincter.
"Everything too loose."
You don't think they'll be any confusion?
I've been diagnosed with a trapped nerve in my rotator cuff. Thankfully it's my left arm that's out of action.

See, you're glad you got it sorted!
Whats the treatment?

I've been told to just rest it then consult mt GP in a couple of days if it hasn't improved. Then it's likely physio.
What's the hand like today?
Excellent. A picture of Danny Dyer to greet me as I log in.

Yeah, but remember it's really good exercise.

Hey, I was right! Maybe I'm a doctor and I just forgot.
I say we have an all night vigil, protests and none violent acts of rebellion. Until Bussell's nerve is free.
Let my nerve go!
What a nerve!
Bussell your nerve will be the Mandela of this forum, your shoulder it's Robin Island!

That said:
How do you define 'extra work'? Sorry, I've been trying to ignore this for 24 hours because I didn't want to be seen as a moaning teacher. I have failed. Let me start Chappers, by saying I like my job, and wouldn't have done it for 8 years if I felt differently. But...Let us not assume it's the same as every other job:1) I get paid exactly the same whether I work 163 hours a week or 35. This in mind, do you think I deserve kudos for turning up every day at 7:30 and leaving at 5:00, seeing as that's extra work, i.e. above what I have to do? I don't. I get paid, and this is contractual, to meet the terms of my job title. This could be any number of hours at all. My average - and I would honestly consider myself a relatively lazy teacher - is about 48-50 hours a week.
2) If it's that easy you become a teacher and do it.
3) I got bored explaining so basically finished on 2).
My apologies to everyone I've bored. >_<
I started training as a teacher long ago and it was bloody hard work. Leading a class is tiring, stressful, noisy and carries a lot responsibilities. There's loads of preparation to do at home too. I've done quite a few different jobs temping in warehouses, cleaning, shop work, etc as well as office-based jobs and to be honest I think I found teaching to be amongst the hardest work. Given the amount of training and responsibility it requires it's badly paid too.
