From Poznan, Poland.
Ooh!
Does that mean next time you've got to go there?
Think I should and will. She did take a bit of a chance coming all the way here to see me after all. Never been to Poland either. Won't be for a little while though as we're both pretty busy and kind of poor.
I think Poland would be interesting.
Polish people have fun names.
I'm off to see Shutter Island having spent the best part of the morning debating its supposed merits over Alice in Wonderland. Don't let me down Scorsese!
Definitely would be interesting. She told about when it gets so cold the sea freezes, even the waves. Sounds mental, although, very very cold. Maybe I could steal a phone book perhaps for a mega list of fun names.
Wowwwww!!!
Yes, good idea.
Quote: DaButt @ April 5 2010, 12:23 AM BSTI probably won't live long enough to even know what happened. You, on the other hand, will probably have a few months of freezing temperatures and slow starvation to look forward to.
We'd be more likely to be hit by tsunamis or tidal waves or whatever they're called.
But the freezing is more than welcome.
Robyn is baking cookies!
She will therefore have to really work at her essay afterwards.
Quote: Tim Walker @ April 5 2010, 3:30 AM BSTI've only experienced a couple of very minor quakes in my lifetime and those were disconcerting enough for me. The last really major natural disaster we had in Britain was a (suspected) tsunami that hit the West coast of England, in 1607...

Unless you count the 1987 hurricane which, personally, I don't.
Fascinating, thanks.
A question occurred to me, but it has gone...

I dunno, they come over here, take our houses and our jobs and now our men!!
I'm sure if you want to live in a shed and earn three quid an hour it's within your grasp and if you want me that badly you should have said so.

Good man. There's something very nice about foreign ladies.
