Use it as an opportunity to explore colons.

Robyn is happy that she may see her friend who moved to Australia years ago next week, but is not so happy that exams are also next week, and so today's revision begins here.

I thought revision started about 8 months ago?

I've wanted to be one of them since I knew they existed! Two seconds ago!

Continuity Girls:

Well you see, with Films (not so much sitcoms done in studio) the scenes are normally shot out-of-sequence, i.e they do all the scenes of one location and then all the scenes at the next location etc often separated by days or weeks.

This means that when a character moves from one location to another in the script, Someone has to remember exactly what costumes the actors were wearing and what accessories and what props they were using and which pocket or which hand was being used etc etc.

Revision started for Robyn in the womb. ;)

And how much of a cigarette has been smoked! Or how much drink has been drunk from a glass.
Aw, I still kind of want to do it.

Heh heh, see what I mean, us males don't remember all the fine details (in this case of what is needed to be a continuity girl).
Huh? :S :D :D

Months of planning & organization & our ex-skule re-union is today and many attendees are unable to get to London, snowed in.

:( :( :( :S

Fortunately we did have a good reunion, though around 40 of the originally booked 141 didn't manage to get there.

I did have a brief chat (though not about acting aspects) with Helen Ryan for whom you might recognise the name. She has appeared in various TV shows including one of the Guest roles in "Doctors". http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0752571/

She was at our school in Germany and her name then was Joan Ryan. Helen is her Stage Name because the name Joan Ryan was already 'taken'.

That's disgusting

Getting ready to head out to my favourite local BBQ place before making a 15-mile drive to one of the caves near my house. Right now it's 30F outside and the constant 70F temperature inside the cave sounds inviting.
