Just say you were empowering it.

Wow! did you aim it at anyone?

That's what I said it about! Angela Carter's reclaiming of it!
We should call you Radical Robyn!
Oooh, I'd be so embarrassed to have to say that in class (even though I use it quite happily normally).
Even 'f**k' would make me go red.
Mind you reading anything out in class makes me want to kill myself. :/
You haaaave to talk in class zooo. There is probably some guy in your class who feels a compulsion to fill in all the silences no matter what he babbles about and he's probably quite embarrassed about it. Y'know... probably.

I have to read out a poem about abortion by Sexton in my next poetry lecture...Yay...

I don't usually swear at all, though I've done quite a lot of ffs-ing over stress at uni. I apparently said it very quietly and like I was coughing over saying it, which I think is fair enough.
Haha! Definitely. Got to let the stress out! Or you essplode. Probably on Elliot. Messy.
I remember having the same discussion in a seminar! I said the word several times. A year later a fellow student approached me in the stree and that's what he remembered me for. He seemed to have liked it!
Quote: Marc P @ November 19 2009, 4:26 PM GMTIt's abloody good question but it was running down the middle of the street! THey have rails laid out, actually it was the rail I tripped over when not looking and the train came by about five minutes later. But still.
There used to be trains running through the streets of Weymouth Dorset going down the quay to the ferry I think.
I seem to recall a man walked in front with a flag. Or maybe he had a motorbike or scooter. Sometimes they needed Police to move a parked car that was too near the rails.
Oh and one part of the track was underwater at very high tides.
Paul McCartney is f**king annoying. Don't get him.
The Beatles will go down in history, yes. But can't Paul go down in history now? Like in a time capsule, or coffin type shape...still alive. As the nail goes in we'll hear a muffled 'Heeeey judde'....Oh shut up Paul, go gracefully here's Heathers spare leg.
Quote: Marc P @ November 19 2009, 4:09 PM GMTI've not heard of any America trains running here.
Well I have! And check the styling of it. Subtle differences in comparison to British locos.
Plus there's the 'U S A' painted on the tender, and the image file being called somethingorother 'usa'.

Whyyy? I would have killed for the chance to say "c**t" out loud at uni!
