How so, Dolly?
Quote: Scottidog @ November 8 2009, 8:38 PM GMTScotti has finally finished his parents heating system. Boiler, vertical flue, 12 rads, 3 bundles of 15, 2 of 22, first fixed kitchen, re-ran gas throughout whole house...
and now have two bathrooms and fireplaces all to do. All for FREE!!!
Love jobs are the (worst) best.
The radiators & the hot & cold to the kitchen were the ONLY bits of plumbing not changed in my house.
How long did it take you to do the heating of your parents house?
Quote: RubyMae - Glamourous Snowdrop at Large @ November 8 2009, 11:44 PM GMTRoo's radiator is playing up again and she is oh so cold! I want an electric blanket for Christmas.
Probably got some air in it.
Buy a radiator bleeding key and put an old icecream container under that corner of the radiator, stand by with a sponge to catch any drips and then gently turn the key a little bit.
If it hisses that was air, if water comes out there was ether none or only a tiny amount of air in yiour radiator. Close the key when water comes out with no bubbling noise.
Thanks Bill. I now have warmth!

All set to hibernate for the winter now then...
Trying to convince a very stubborn little boy that he should be exhausted after 6 hours of jumping into leaf piles and yard work.
Able to move and not just her eyelids

It really dries the air out and makes the bedroom much warmer than it needs to be.
Pip pip! Chip's here! And it's misty and cold which means big black coat weather.
Robyn is just about to start her coursework, having had a giant panic over misplacing the list of title.
And I am now not being allowed to access stuff. Ffs. >_<
In my day you had to walk to the library, spend ages looking around for the a book that was already probably checked-out. And we didn't have any shoes...
*goes and studies down in the air raid shelter*
I am upset for my boyfriend who was made redundant this morning.
