What's a BAFTA screening?

I'm not sure of details. Just that it's amongst six short films having a BAFTA screening a week Monday at a central London cinema.

Well actually it is but Portobella Lane was a track leading to a farm. Funnily enough my ancestors from the West Country first settled there in the 19th century as the area grew and ended up as coster mongers on Portobella market. My great grandfather was an entrepeneur who started with a cart and ended up with a haulage business, eventually selling the mews they owned on Portobello Road to Tescos, for millions. Hence I grew up in Notting Hill.

a) sadly no, a huge catholic family meant the dosh was spread pretty thinly.
b) the short is a black romantic comedy that will be shown at the Princess Anne Theatre.
