My mom is trying to fix me up with her Facebook friends, my gran keeps mentioning me to guys at church, and my kids just want me to find someone nice.

I think the important thing is what you want though, isn't it Andrea?

I hope you get what you want Andrea, I sincerely do. :D

Thanks. I'm not sure what I want right now. Very confusing.
Glad that some people here are happy (you know who you are...) :)

I'd say go out with the guy. Who knows what might happen and at the very least it might be an ego boost and a change of scenery. :)

If you're happy with his company, I agree - definitely go for it. :)

Yeah, go for it Andrea. He might show you his nightstick.

It is the policeman we're talking about right...?

Yes, it would be his nightstick Nil.
I could use a night out...maybe I will say yes.

Thanks guys and ladies.

You're still married, right? I know that a lot of police departments frown on officers dating married women and it could possibly affect his career. Just sayin' ...

Oh, yeah. Didn't think of that. Maybe he didn't either. We were really good friends in high school and almost dated back then. He knows my situation...well, now I will definitely have to call.

Thanks for the reality check.

So he is cute, yes?

Thanks for the reality check.

Not trying to rain on your parade or anything. I just know how small towns and police departments work. It seems like most of the problems we have with cops here relate to affairs and questionable dating practices/choices.

Ours are just horribly overweight, which he is not!

And yes Zooo, he is very easy on the eyes.

Then I vote doooooo it!

I'm going to have a think about it before I call. But he's a great guy. I'll keep you posted.

What up peeps. Watching 'Parks and Recreation' while scanning for Doctor Who news.....my oh my.

Possibly the saddest words ever uttered within these forums. And that's saying something.

(NPI.)

I can't get into watching Parks and Recreation. I've tried a few times and I always find myself saying, "What else could I be watching right now?"
