I'm nervous too, and I've done it all before. :)
Am stoopid.

Awww, no way stoopid, anyone would be nervous. It's not as though it'll be the same lot as last time is it!

About failings.

You're worried about failings??? Already???
Oh, Scats your super brains will never let you down. I never turned up and still got a 2:1 so you'll breeze it if you stay in bed for 3 years!
Really there's nothing at all to worry about for what little I know it'll do.

I have to get a certain score to even be able to go onto year 2, let alone worrying about year 3 already.

You'll be fine. But what's the worse that can happen even if you fail?

I'd rather not think about it. Especially the money incurred.

I thought my world had caved in when I got 4% on my aerodyamics exam in my second year.

Yes 4%!

I did a resit and got 86%

Simples!

Is it really that terrible, really? There's a lot of bad things that can happen in life and failing a year at uni (which is unlikely anyway) is not one of them.

Hello Bigfella. Are you feeling better?

Hello Bigfella. Are you feeling better?

Yes thank you kindly - antibiotics are a wonderful thing!

Our resits after 'fails' are capped at 40%. As in, if we get less that 35% then resit, the highest resit mark we can get is 40%.

But how likely is that Scats, reeeeally?
See how you do on your first couple of assignments, then decide whether to expend so much time and effort on being stressed. :)

(I know that won't make you stop, but it was worth a try.)

Oh I don't know. Uni is a nice, trouble-free, responsabilityless bubble. Might go back myself just for the sake of it.

Or a vile hell hole of depression, wasted money, and demoralisation on a level hitherto unfathomable.

Well it did wonders for your vocab!

I'm not just thinking about that right now, though. I am freaking maaajorly. Not fun.

I'm pretty sure that you'd end up killing yourself if you lived away from home.

So did watching The Inbetweeners, but it doesn't mean I'd want to spend 3 years with no other TV programme.

You clunge monkey.
