"Oo-er, bit of politics there..." Geek

My brother-in-law managed to open a 10 inch cut into the top of his head when he jumped into his van and banged his head on the sun visor, the other day.

It was cut down to the skull and then developed a haematoma. On the upside he got a head dressing that made him look like a great big smurf.

Chipolata's just carried four boxes of coffee to an alcove for Dot, the cleaner.

What a gentleman. *shakes Chip's hand* :)

Sorry shouldn't laugh but the "big giant smurf" was a killer line!

He looks like Alexi Sayle if that helps you picture it better. :D

Roo knows her friends are planning something for her birthday tomorrow even when she told them not to worry about it because every person she has asked "Whatcha doin'?" replies "Nothing...er.....must go and......er......do stuff....." while hiding stuff behind their backs. Unimpressed

Not exactly subtle! Laughing out loud

It's your birthday tomorrow? Again? Seems like the last one was only yesterday! (Mind you there have been so many birthdays around here recently I lose track.) Unless you're like the Queen and have an official birthday as well?

Birthdays are usually a non event for me so if I had two, that would be two non events! But last year I did actually have a good one because Dan and Adam went to loads of trouble to do a surprise rainbow themed fancy dress party for me and then there was of course my AMAZING CARD from you lot which was far more important! I still have Finck's Squizzel badge.

This year I just plan to hide in a pot of moisturiser.

Mind you this year it falls on 09.09.09 which is quite cool.

Your birthday isn't the 9th September every year then?

I have it at whim.

You have to make a big fuss of it! I'm sure you've said before that your family didn't really celebrate birthdays when you were a child (weirdly mine didn't either. I think I've mentioned the only time I did get a birthday cake was on my 7th and I surmised that I muct have leuakemia.) So go overboard now. I do. I think I told everyone I met it was my birthday the other day. :)

while hiding stuff behind their backs.

I knew a guy who hid things behind his back but he was a female impersonator.

Happy BD, Roo.

Sorry to hear Andrea's trouble. Glad daughter ok.

Sometimes I can't believe I'm still alive and am now so old.
