Did it take her all week to answer though?
No, it took me this time to get both internet access and the time to to post!

No, don't be daft. We'd planned to go away for a night in Sussex, which we did, and I'd decided that was the best opportunity before we both start back at work. We'd had a few drinks, a bit of dinner. I handed her a note written by my four year old son where he'd traced the letters I'd written in pencil saying 'Will you marry my daddy?' after 'cleverly' bringing the conversation around the improvement in his handwriting.
Then she cried for a while before saying yes. Job done.
That's not counting the bit where she walked in on me while I was on the phone to her dad asking for his permission:
"Ah Graham, thanks. I've always felt welcome, and its very kind of you to... Bye then. Yup. Aha. Great. Ok. Yuh-huh. Hmmmm. Right then..."

Using the kid! That's great!
Andi is waiting patiently for her kids to come home from the state fair...
I think I met every one of my neighbors within a 2-block radius today. I drank beer with them all.
Do you have each of the stereotypical beer drinkers? I do within about a 100 ft radius...

I've just started hanging out with my neighbors and so far all of them seem very cool. They all drink good beer and seem to be nice people. There was a bunch of fantasy football nonsense going on this morning, so I just hung out with the women and talked about women stuff.
I lost two Football (soccer) games today and I've been working on my resumes all day long. Today blooooows.

Robyn is back from Reading!
Nice hair, Danny; and very many congratulations, Rob!
Welcome back, Robyn. Hope you had a lovely time at Reading.
I did indeed, thank you. Was very glad to have Elliot there as he took good care of me.
Highlights of the weekend?
There's too many to choose from! Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, White Lies, and of course, Radiohead, were among the best.
Elliot being with you doesn't make the top highlights?
