I dunno. She was certainly before Ellie. (No innuendo intended.)

No, you made us both mods on the same night... I remember... Exciting.

Was there an initiation ceremony?

I always thought Frostyboy would have made a good mod.

Was it the tonic suit?

We had to get naked and kiss...

Chipolata's clocking out. Wave

Yeah, but one of you still had to be mod first. :)

Ew.

Today after casually annoucing I was gonna cut my hair (it's FAR too long), suddenly 3 girls at work (none EVIL) has decided to make me their 'project'... They are bringing photos to work tomorrow.

Apparently they think I should go for 'something like Jack Black'.

They want to fatten you up?

They want to fatten you up?

Trust me, there's NO need for them to do that, that's one box already ticked :D

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a nice pub that does good food (preferably dogs allowed) in the New Forest area.

No, Dolly, but I can recommend a pub in Tooting if you want to a) be accused by a drunken Irishman of sleeping with his wife in the early 1970s, or b) make a donation to the IRA via the unmarked collection box in the saloon bar. Does this help? :)

I think I've been to that pub, but it was in Kilburn. :)

I've always had a sneaking suspicion that the real reason the IRA was always blowing up bits of London was simply a crafty way of providing more work for all the bloody Irish labourers and builders who lived there. In the current economic climate I would advise Londoners to start checking your patios/tarmac-ed drives for bombs every morning.

My ex-School friends club held a small re-union in the new forest early this month. I wasn't there myself, so I'll just copy over some quotes.:

They used "an excellent pub "The Trusty Servant" in Minstead.Nearby is Furzey Gardens which has a good cafe in superb surroundings.

"The Trusty Servant' is one of my favourite pubs and I always try and visit it on my summer trips to England. Minstead is not the easiest place to find being a tiny village about 5 miles from Lyndhurst well off the beaten track. About a dozen houses, one shop/post office, one pub, a church and about 400 New Forest ponies. Absolutely delightful.

And for Sherlock Holmes fans, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is buried in the churchyard. "

"The two camp sites in the Alan Rogers camping Guide, nearest to Minstead are:
1. Red Shoot camping park, a couple of miles North and East of Ringwood
2. Forest Holidays, Hollands Wood, half a mile north of Brockenurst.
Red Shoot has the Red Shoot Inn adjacent.
There may of course be others, not listed."

"There is indead a website for the TS : http://www.thetrustyservant.co.uk. Bar snacks listed on the website seem to start from around £10 but there night possibly be cheaper dishes that they don't promote quite so well. Website mentions a commitment to 'Real Ale' but doesn't mention which ones are avilable or how much they cost; I'm sure they'll have non alcoholic alternatives for those who want them.

They don't appear to do B&B - but website shows a 3 bedroomed apartment to be available.

Since my main reason for being in the area that week is to manage a guesthouse, then folk seeking accomodation need only click this http://www.twinoaksguesthouse.co.uk . there are probably more camping & caravanning sites in the NF than in any other comparable area.
"

Double-check with them about the dog(s); the pub was OK about my brother's dog Dundee, but he is a fully trained Hearing Assistance Dog and restaurants are obliged by law to let him in.

I wish my neighborhood could boast a ratio like that.
