I printed out the reading list of the uni I decided not to go to too. I have some vague plan of reading it all some day. But it's hundreds of books so I maaay not manage it...
I need to find a copy of "The Cook's Tale", or what exists of it, though. >_<

What are some of the other books (nice famous ones which I might have heard of) that you have to read?

If you're not sure of the reading list, why not just order them from the library for now?

Ah. I only had to read one of those for my degree. Does the course have a choice of modules, or is the reading list just for the compulsary bits?
Choices don't come until years two and three. I'm so daunted right now it's ridiculous.

You shouldn't be. It's really, really easy at uni. Anything you don't have time to read you can usually get away with just reading the introduction for purposes of lectures and seminars. It's not worthing stressing too much about it all; for your mental health anyway. It's one of the easy bits of life. Enjoy it. 
I got a 2:1 whilst looking after a house and having a busy social life.
