Is this negative feedback?

I recently sent a short script to the BBC writers room, basically an idea for a sitcom involving a Prostitute, a Neo Nazi and a retired Saw Doctor.

"Many thanks for your short synopsis. We did not enjoy it at all. Your script lacked imagination, your basic premise was shite and the paper you sent it on was covered in what we can only hope were egg stains. We shall not be showing your work to the production team as we believe there is little point. Your writing shows no promise whatsoever. You joked, I hope, about giving up your day job...DON'T"

Yours Sincerely

Joseph Collins B.A.Hons

P.S. If they were not egg stains may we suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible. Or look up UTI in a medical dictionary !!!.

I think I can take some positives out of this don't you. They were at least concerned about my health.

.

Ouch... They are a nice bunch!

Hmm I got

"You're not funny and neither's your scripts, and if you keep wanking outside Jan Leeming's dressing room we're calling the police,"

But sootyj neurotic middle aged newsreaders have always been your downfall. Whistling nnocently

And can I say, they always will be !!!!

You think if it weren't for Jan Leeming my crazy sitcom about mentally ill Iceland songstress's could have worked?

You don't have to be mad to Bjork here.

To answer your question - yes that is negative feedback. :)

I thought it was quite encouraging actually...maybe add a knob gag in scene 2.

You Ruumble Tuumble :D :D :D

They really said that? Wow they're harsh. Ignore it and move on I guess as there's no positive criticism in there.
