Victoria Wood.
I'm with Winterlight on this one.
Russell Howard.
After last nights fanny fart of a production can I suggest Peter Kay?
Quote: Spagett @ October 13 2008, 4:36 PM BSTRussell Howard.
YES. Along with the rest of the regulars on 'Mock the Week'.
Also:
Paul O'Grady
Jo Caulfield
Barry Humphries
Frank Carson
Russell Howard. Ace.
Peter Kay. Not ace.
I would put calling Russell Howard ace a dafter statement than when you said you would rather leave your kids with Chris Langham than Peter Kay.
Having said that surely Britains Got the Pop Factor is enough for a conviction.
Jo Caulfield is a great choice as well.
You don't mind Patrick Kielty or Jimmy Carr and you slate Jerry Seinfeld? You people know literally nothing about comedy. Is that why you all huddle together on this pointless forum for warmth?
Oh, and Patrick Kielty is the human definition of filler. Wayne Rooney sleeping with prostitute jokes, in 2014? His material is as plain as his appearance.

No, we come here in the hope of meeting little treasures like you.
I think one person said they didn't like Seinfeld. No need to judge us all so harshly!

You can add another Jewy Seinfeld nonliker here. How any decent Brit admires or even gets his humour is beyond me, it's beyond the Atlantic divide. And I'm someone who not only gets Chevvy Chase but love his stuff. With Seinfeld it's just every time.
And the Kielty is excellent, don't give a toss if his material's a bit old fashioned, in fact it's a bonus. Most likeable comedian since the great Jimmy Tarbuck.
Seinfeld is brilliant. Antisemitism raises it's head in quite an ugly way here.

Seriously Alfred?
It's a term decent British people use!
