"Rick Spleen". "Spleen" generally meaning "bad temper and vitriol". They might as well have called him "Peter Grumpy".

Quote: Griff @ October 8 2008, 11:35 AM BST"Peter Grumpy".
Ha!
I'd have preferred that.
I suppose (though to lesser extent) Basil Fawlty is a bit like that. Fawlty - faulty. I suppose it's there. Basil Angry would have been better.
Edmond Sarcastic.
Chandler Quip.
Edmund Blackadder
Baldrick
General/Lord Melchett
Apparently there's a Peter Mond, 4th Baron Melchett which is a good name too.
...and of course...
Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock
I used to always think Super Hans was called Super Hands, because he was meant to be a DJ, or a keyboard player.

Quote: Lee Henman @ October 8 2008, 10:01 AM BSTThere was a character in Monkey Island, an old computer game I used to play called "Guybrush Threepwood". Sometimes that name just pops into my head and I can't get it out again, I just walk around repeating it to myself all day like a complete spaz.
You've brought back some delightful memories there, Lee.
The name I can't get out of my head right now is Jan "the lung" Jung, as an associate of mine calls him.
I remember everyone was in awe of the graphics, on that game.
