My Stand-Up Video

Well I've been promising it since I started doing it, but here is footage of my first stand-up gig. The mateiral has bit since then, thank to Dolly Dagger, Paul W and Stuart Laws.

Stand Up Video Here

I must now go and hide.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeey!

Look at you!

Made me laugh. I liked the internet dating line. And I remember you talking about the shed/awning stuff on here!
Even the microphone handover at the start managed to be funny. :)

Nice one, was getting butterflies myself at the beginning. Enjoyed it, some good gags and you coped well. Satisfying audience groan at the end too :)

Thanks for posting it. Would be interested to see a later performance to see how the routine's and performance has developed. I suppose you'll just tell me to get down to some place in Richmond next time and see for myself :P

That was ace!

The shed line was a good one and so was the popcorn and the dog rescue bit. The whole internet date section was great!

You're so brave! :)

haha nice one, that was really funny.

You didn't appear to have any nerves at all either, or you hid them well!

Bloody hell, was that really a first gig? Great stuff - some good material, but even better was the way you rode the flatter spots. Well done. I might have to come to Richmond at this rate...

Am at work on night shift and can't even hear it, but just had to say WISH I WAS THAT FECKING BRAVE.

Will comment on the content when I get access to speakers at home but to be honest doesn't matter if it's the great Peter Kay or the dreadful Patrick Kielty, at least you had the Balls to do it. :D :D :D England Scotland

That was brilliant for a first go - can't wait to see you perform live - we might make you do an impromptu performance on Saturday now! :D

I liked this Danny. The colour match joke was the best for me. I thought the delivery was excellent and the gags were more than good enough. Throw more stuff back to the audience and you're done.

And buy a suit, you shitbag.

You look funny, you sound funny and your gags are funny. Please take the first two observations as compliments.

Rescue dog, colour match and computer dating gags were splendid. I laughed sitting in front of my desktop PC on my own at midnight.

(That might well have been the single most depressing sentence I've ever written.)

I'd like to see a more up-to-date performance.

Brilliant first time performance, confident delivery with strong material.
I have tried to film my routine twice now (the misses messed it up both times) If I succeed on Thursday I will follow your brave lead and post it.

Well done mate, if your in Richmond again let us know

Also Danny are you entering the laughing horse new act competition?

I think you should.

I wasn't but I might now :)

Thanks everyone for thier kind words, it's great that you guys are enjoying this and I still get such a buzz from it.

I was nervous for you Danny but loved it. Really well done mate, I wish I had been there to see it live.. next time!

Yer pal,

Frankie xxx :)

Hey Danny, Nice to know its gone well. I liked it of course.

I extended the pot noodle joke, in my routine Danny, builds up to the punchline more - I can E-mail it you, or you E-mail me.

One small thing to mention, don't talk over the crowd when they're laughing, I know you want to get your set out of the way and threw up but, let them laugh and even clap! then move on.

Yeah email me... as I say this was my first gig... I've moved on a lot from then (although Stuart will probably tell you differently tonight) no more talking over the crowd was the first lesson learnt :D
