Final Draft etc. Page 3

Final Draft is brilliant for me. And it keeps getting better with their updates so it's less buggy than it used to be. I never even think about formatting my stuff now. I just switch it on and start writing. It's a big change from how it was before I had FD. Well worth the investment if you ask me. Plus, having FD makes you a real writer, doesn't it?

No. No it doesn't. Writing makes you a real writer, hopefully with the possibility of getting paid for it.

Hi Bill, unfortunately ...

... and I use MS Word for Mac. So I will try doing a basic version myself.

Ah, OK.

The bits that don't work on the Mac, AsFarAsIKnow are the macros, so all the paragraph styles should be correct. So you could use those formats, to style a script and add keystroke macros if you wish. The only really tricky macro is the "Make Production Script" a process which you can do by hand anyway.
