Who buy one of these?!

I'm not including the Arnie one. :)

Very lonely pundits?

Who watched the VP debate?

I watched some of it. Flicked between the two debates.

No but Ii'm about to

I watched the Canadian one.

They mentioned you Curt, they think you're a lovely guy but can you stop whistling on the bus.

It annoys Mrs Gunderstanks Pekinese.

Laughing out loud no!
I've told her before I have a condition! *whistles erratically*

Oh yes! :D

The question is whether a sizeable enough number of Americans can realise that the only none NDWAM in the Republican party, is a boggle eyed political illiterate sticking to a memorised script.

And realise voting for measures that favor the rich, won't make you rich.

NDWAM...?

Nearly Dead White American Male

Wish Huckaby would have won the nomination. Vice prez Chuck Norris would have been ace.

But he kicked her ass all over the stage.

I suspect that anyone who was already an Obama/Biden supporter would agree with you. And the McCain/Palin supporters would have an entirely different view.

Last night's even was more bloodsport than debate. Everyone gathered around to watch Sarah Palin skid going into a turn and slam head-on into the wall. But she didn't. And I don't think a single mind was changed, with the possible exception of any truly undecided voters who may still be out there.

In this morning's news I read several critiques of Palin's performance, taking her to task for mangling a general's name, but none of them caught - or were willing to mention, perhaps - Biden's glaring revisions of history pertaining to the West Bank and Lebanon.

Palin didn't crash and burn, so the media will forget about her quickly and return to fawning over Obama.

I quite liked her, reminded me of my early standup gigs.

Memorise the script, smile and hope the audience laugh.

Just read the text of the Lebanon remarks, stupid bastard mistook 1982 removal of the PLO. For later conflicts with Hezzbolah.

Oh well probably did it on purpose, so as not to be seen as mocking Palin's ignorance.

Who reckons US should invade one of it's most significant Muslim allies.

I don't think so. Biden claimed that he and Obama called for NATO forces to move in. Obama was a 20-year-old college student at the time. I'm assuming he was talking about Syria, not Hezbollah, being kicked out of Lebanon (by the Lebanese, not France and the USA) a few years ago. That's a rather major mistake by the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

?

Pakistan.

One of US's few Muslim allies, and the only Muslim state with nuclear wepaons technology.

Also one of the strongest potential leavers on Iran.

Seems pretty stupid to destabilise their democratic government for the flea bitten remains of Al Quaeda.

You're talking about Obama, right?

He got his wars round the wrong way, or he may have been referring to Israel removing Hezbollah upto the Litani river in 2006.

Nope it was Palin who referred to invading Pakistan recently.

Obama spoke about bombing bits of it, which was also stupid.

But then Obama also said it when Pakistan was ruled by Musharrif a dubious fasicst, who sold nuclear technology to Syria and North Korea. As well as having strong links to Islamic fundamentalists.

I guess that makes Obama heroic proponent of freedom and democracy in the face of sleazy Bushite influence peddling.

Vs Palin who wants to kill democracies. Either that or she is jsut fundamnetally ignorant and should stick to insulting Polar bears for oil money.

"When I am president, we will wage the war that has to be won, with a comprehensive strategy with five elements: getting out of Iraq and on the right battlefield in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Obama

Could be taken as allying himself with Pakistani government.

Palin was referring to sending in troops unilaterally.

It's the diference between buying a loaf of bread and holding the store up.

No, what he meant was quite clear.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama issued a pointed warning yesterday to Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, saying that as president he would be prepared to order U.S. troops into that country unilaterally if it failed to act on its own against Islamic extremists.

Pakistan's cooperation against al Qaeda has been lukewarm at best. The war in Afghanistan is at risk of being lost. Everyone knows that it's being directed from within the tribal areas of Pakistan. I have no doubt that either presidential candidate will eventually order a stepped-up offensive against this area if Pakistan doesn't take care of the problem itself.

Again as I corrected my self.

Musharrif sleazy diseminator of nuclear weapons (far worse than Iran or DPRK) and tacit supporter of Al Quaeda.

oposed by Obama.

Asif Al Zawari, democratically elected, anti Al Quaeda.

oposed by Palin (though according to some news sources it may be because he asked her for a shag).

Obama's just as much, if not more, of a 'tard than the rest of them. He's just largely stuck to message. Like Blair 11 years ago. That is all.

Probably.
