DVD Screen Capture Software

If I want to take a snapshot from a video running on a DVD through my pc, then what software should I use? I'm looking for something that's freeware...

Unfortunately I couldn't get a decent screen capture for what I wanted! It wasn't coming from the best source, so I guess that's why...
