Okay, so I just got an e-mail back from a production co and they want an overview. I was just wondering is this the same as a synopsis?

An overview is where you peer over their garden wall and look in through their bathroom window.

I suspect it's a synopsis, plus maybe a 'what happens to the characters over the course of the series' kind of thing but I've never been fortunate to be in your lucky position, so can't really say if that's right or not.
