Accents you hate! (or like..) Page 15

Noone likes a Finck accent. :(

I do - I love German accents.

Also there's an Icelandic girl on the radio - like Bjork - and it sounds endearing.

I love Scottish - really strong - and a soft Irish. That is basically Dublin as opposed to Belfast.

(Still looking for reference to me!)

I was also in love with Daphne from Frasier when I was a kid.

Daphne's accent is a real mongrel.

I like the Suffolk accent. It is a shame that Suffolk people are often ridiculed and thought to be thick. I think this is partly due to them having their own phrases and sayings, which can be very hard to understand.

That's because - well we all know why don't we!

I tell you a male accent I really like: David Chapman's.

He's such a geezer!

I have a recording of it (I think) from a reading of Gavin's script. He does have a pretty cool accent. And Charley's sounds pretty sexy.

Afraid that's not me!

Charley does havc a very sexy voice in a cheap almost posh tarty type way - like Jenny Eclair.

Fankoo David for you oh so kind words.

Actualy David sounds like a retarded rabbit.

Blast me bo' wot arr yew a jo-en on abowt?

I dont like the liverpool accent. It sounds like they are chewing their own tongues. The American accent is only cool on Samuel L Jackson & I hate Hugh Grants poncey posh drawl. I would still do him though, but I would selotape his top lip to his nose & his bottom lip to his chin. Good acccess & no talking.

I've always wondered why so many people from places like London and Essex, have trouble pronouncing the letters 'th' and the letter 'r'. I remember Robin Williams once laughing at how, the minute he steps off the plane, at any of the London airports, his name suddenly becomes "Wobin".

And now I'm wondering what the hell you're on about.

I just spent a minute in my room saying "Robyn" to myself, to try this out. My parents are really going to think I've cracked. >_<

I don't like the 'Scouse accent, especially chavy girly ones. Same goes for Geordie. Oh and Australian.

I do sometimes like posh English voices, not sure exactly what I'm thinking of and where it could be from but yeah.

I wish I was posh!

Maybe I could start being posh now. Is it ever too late?

I thought of another one I like. Croatian! (in honour of Dr Luka from ER.)

It's never too late, zooo. We'll have to get elocution lessons together. Split the price. :D

Yess!
