I've never even seen Norman Wisdom.
Isn't he the one Lee Evans is trying to be? So I've heard.

Didn't take much trying.
Or, in fact, any.

But what if I think he's shite? There must be something on YouTube, I'll have a look there for a taster.
Is he one of these old fashioned 'where's me washboard' comedians?
If you think Norman Wisdom is shite, then you have no soul and are not welcome at the BSG!
I'm not anyway.
Buuuut, I'll try to see before I part with my 20 lovelies!
Quote: ian_w @ September 21 2008, 11:03 PM BSTIs he one of these old fashioned 'where's me washboard' comedians?
No. He is/was a comic actor with a great talent for physical comedy and pin-point timing.
Norman Wisdom may have been one of the greatest clown comics since Charlie Chaplin, and a talented comic singer to boot.

I've got a gut feeling I won't like it though.
I never really got Chaplin. I always preferred Stan and Ollie.
And no I'm not old enough to remember them.

The feeling grows
Charlie Chaplin was a bit poop really. Wisdom was ace. Stan & Ollie also true greats.
