Stressed Eric was rubbish. Awful show!

Your tastes are so weird I suspect you enjoy marmite and broken glass sandwiches.

Quote: Griff @ September 20 2008, 12:34 AM BST

I'm not bothering to record your views on non comedies like Sex And The City or f**king Robocopy Sooty or we'll be here forever.

AND THE 12.30 DEADLINE HAS GONE

Both classed themselves as comedies.

Bah humbug.

I quadruple double up hate Sex and The City.

I agree.

back to the flaw!

Angelic it's not back to the flaw it's a different point to the one you raised earlier

(b) I explained several times I'm not interested in views where people "don't mind" something or we'll never get anywhere. I just want to know when people HATE something that is supposedly universally loved, or vice versa. My thread, my rules. If you're not interested in the results, don't read 'em.

Vote for Laurel and Hardy, Harold Lloyd and Tiswas.

Laughing out loud

I'm gonna echo a question which Griff didn't answer earlier: Was there a TV adaptation of Viz?

I vote for KitKats, the smell of books and seeing your town on a BBC weathermap.

What's with all the one that have slipped in at the bottom of the list?

VOID!! VOID!! Start again!!!

*sniggers*

I did answer it earlier Aaron - yes, there was several TV cartoon adaptations of Viz, and anyway the poll was allowed to include any form of comedy.

And apologies to Sooty. Sex And The City was classed as a comedy. So I will count that in to the results.

Yup "Sid the Sexist", "The Fat Slags" and "Roger Mellie" (voiced by Peter Cooke)

Also a film of "The Fat Slags", so bad that the editor of Viz threatened to end the magazine if it was associated with it.

XTC had a hit with a song about "Buster Gonad"

Well I don't think Viz should stay on the universally loved list, seeing as none of us have ever heard of it.

Vote for Laurel and Hardy, Harold Lloyd and Tiswas.

Great choices, but too late.

Ah ok. Must have got lost amidst the frantic postage. Fairy muff.

And I don't think SATC counts as a comedy either. It's a romantic drama that happens to have a few funny lines in it.

What would one count Allie McBeal as?

A Televisual emetic, sensory deprivation torture, an advert for how anorexia makes you ugly, hateful and unfunny?

I have the cartoons were fan-bleeding-tastic.

Peter Cooke as Roger Mellie was a sublime pleasure.
