Universally Loved And Loathed Page 22

There's a danger of this thread degenerating into people listing the sitcoms they happen to like. The idea was to suggest sitcoms they not only like, but they think everybody likes, as a universal classic. Just a reminder. Otherwise obscure personal favourites will appear on the list, which isn't the point really. That's a whole different list.

Meanwhile. I'm only crossing sitcoms off the love/hate list if you have strong feelings about them. Saying "well it's OK" is not enough. That's my rules.

I didn't used to mind Dharma And Greg either.

EDIT: I do not hate it!

Well, no I couldn't, it's not the style of show I really like or would try to write. I like gags, but not something that is just gags, I like a bit more meat on the bones than that. It just feels a bit empty to me, just not a style I like.

Fair enough. FWIW, I thought exactly the same after watching S01E01. I actually remember texting Mark (as he was out and thus not able to watch, obviously) that it was just a gag-gag-gag stand-up advert vehicle for Lee and Vine, with no apparent sitcom charm to it, and all round quite a disappointment.

Although far more succinctly than that, because I'm cheap and am not paying for more than one message.

But anyway, yeah, I didn't watch E2, but happened to catch E3 purely by chance, and couldn't stop laughing. I have loved it since.

Renta Ghost, Grange Hill loved, same for Saved by the Bell.

Eastenders rubbish sitcom and very hatable.

Most hateful sitcom Big Brother (it's so scripted).

Griff, you've got Tilt twice in your list there.

I should try and watch a few more, I've probably only seen bout three or so full episodes,so my opinion cold well be ill informed rubbish! Wouldn't be the first time.

I don't hate Will and Grace.

zooo, this information is no use. It doesn't affect the results. You have to like it to rescue it from the hate list.

But I thought you wanted to know what was universally hated. If one of us says we don't hate it - surely it comes off the list??

What happened to the midnight deadline??
:)

Tilt? What that BBC7 thing? That was rubbish.

Just Shoot Me . . . Yes, please do so I don't have to watch this.

Just in case you missed my post Griff.

back to the flaw!

I double hate Will and Grace.

I quadruple double up hate Sex and The City.

I hate it like Attila hated Roman civilisation. Hated it like God hated idolatry, loathed it with the pure undiluted hatred of a slug for salt.

Lead Balloon(Suggested by Sootyj)
Colin's Sandwich(Suggested by Sootyj)
Cheers(Suggested by Sootyj)
Stressed Eric(Suggested by Sootyj)

Stressed Eric was rubbish. Awful show!

By the way I will be contacting MI5 tomorrow with the names of everyone who deselcted Monty Python, Look Around You, The Simpsons and Dark Place.

No good patriotic, decent English person could have such seditious opinions.

I'm not bothering to record your views on non comedies like Sex And The City or f**king Robocopy Sooty or we'll be here forever.
