4Talent Awards shortlist

Don't know if anyone here entered this. It was a sort of 'new talent' thing with categories including comedy writing and performing. Well the shortlist is here:

I didn't enter this myself as I didn't quite agree with the idea that 'new talent' only constitutes people under 30 and not because I don't fulfill this criteria * coughs* . I'd be interested to see how many of these people really are new talent and how many are actually already working in their chosen field and are only considered 'new' because they are under 30.

I wasn't eligible due to my advanced old old old age (I'm 372 you know). I non-stalkerishly Googled all the animators though and found some very good stuff.

4Talent/4laughs was set up to the 'punters' happy.

Yes, there'll be a first prize and an 'opportunity to..', etc. but the main object of the exercise is to handle all the 'wannabes' and keep them happy as one, feeding them peanuts and prizes - whilst the main body of producers, commissioners, etc. can get on with their work undisturbed. Good idea, huh?
